March 2025 Last Minute Manda Challenge

 Hi there,

Spring is in the air this week - I have finally seen a bit of sun.

I have made a couple of cards for this months Last Minute Manda challenge, why not try your hand in the competition and make a card.

The first one is using another one of the images from the Bruno Bunny Valentine sketches set, this time Bruno is holding some tulips.  A great card for Easter.

The second card is made using the Benny Valentine Sketches.  Benny is a cute little teddy bear and in this card I chose the image where he is holding some roses.  I chose this one as I thought this one would be lovely for Mothers Day. Both images are coloured using coloured pencils.

Which one is your favourite?

February Last Minute Manda Competition

Here is one of the Bruno Bunny Digital images from Last Minute Manda.

This is just one of the images in this set of sketched images.  I chose this one as its perfect for Valentines Day.

I coloured this image using my coloured pencils to give it that delicately cute look.

Why not enter the competition yourself, you never know you could win yourself some digital images.

Foxy Valentine LMM

Happy New Year to everyone.
For my January card on the Last Minute Manda Blog, I am sharing a card made using the Foxy Valentine digital images.

Who can resist these lovely characters?

I have used my triblend alcohol markers to colour these foxes this month. For the background I inked a sheet of card with a bit of distressed ink - swirled it around a little and dried it off.  Once it was dried, I stenciled a flowered heart (by Picket Fence) into the middle and arranged the foxes with the larger image at the front.
Why not have a go and join in with the Last Minute Manda challenge.  Its theme is anything goes this month.

Flower Mouse

This month's card for the Last Minute Manda Blog is made with the Digital Image set Flower Mouse.
I printed the mouse onto craft card and gently coloured the image in using coloured pencils to give it a subtle look. For the edges of the card, I blended Saltwater Taffy and a grey distress oxide inks.
I hope you like it.

Chris Mooses

What is better than a Chris Moose?
 Two Chris Mooses 🤣🤣
These fabulous images are designs by Last Minute Manda, who design some lovely digital images for you to download.
These are great for those last minute cards you have to make, and lets face it, there are always at least one or two you forget to make - well I do.
But now I can use these digital images, problem solved.

To make this card I printed two of the images from the Chris Moose set (placing one image behind the other so that it looks like one of the moose are popping out behind the parcel) before printing onto a watercolour card.
I used my heat gun to dry off the image as I only have an inkjet printer.  This enabjed me to use my watercoloured paints to colour the images.
I wanted to keep it a clean snd simple card so I just mounted it up on red and put on a A5 white cardbase.
I used a stickles holographic glitter glue to spot a few snow drops on the card to finish it off.

I hope you like it, if you do why not have a go yourself.
